Back with the SEMA coverage and now, part 3.
If you guys remember part 2, it was a tour around South Hall, the Wheel & Accessories section.
Today, we'll be checking out a part of North Hall and mostly the Central Hall.
The two girls at the top were pretty spicy~ They seemed a bit irritated with all these guys taking photos of them, but once the camera was up, these girls were in action.
Reminds me of those photos from car shows in Japan with models in front of a car.
2011 Five Axis Scion tC. For some reason, I dislike the design of the whole car.
I was talking with my photographer, Dan, and was trying to find out the model of this car. We think it's a Studebaker (around 1940) but might be wrong so help us out! By the way, it was slammed!
Forbidden Fantasy...that sounds legit.
VW GTI on TSW wheels. There were a lot of cars with TSW's and they looked pretty good.
Widebody M3 on iForged wheels. I recently found out about iForged and had to check out their booth. I have to say the company is legit!
Turboed Widebody Z. Never seen one with this body kit.
Now into the North Hall. A lot of Domestic cars were slammed to the ground like this 1968 Mustang Eleanor.
Supercharged Camaro by Redline. This car placed in the top 10 out of the 800 that competed for the Mothers award.
Miata on some nice black Enkei RPF1's.
The Mazda booth had some nice cars on display.
like this MazdaSpeed3 on Volk TE37's and a huge wind splitter.
Mazda2 on Five Axis rims.
I was a bit disappointed seeing a car worth more than a million dollars wrapped on some....yea...
Checked out the D1Spec booth because of the BBK they had on display. Alvin asked if they made one for the G, but the girl representing the company said something totally off topic.
Black on Black. Always loved the color combo.
Couple of other cars displayed near the front of North Hall's entrance.
Revoluscion was really prepared for SEMA. The Gold tC's interior was pretty sick!
Would look much better without the lambo doors.
Why do BBS LM's look sexier on Bimmers?
NEMO!!!! Sorry but it really did look like NEMO. No idea on the brand or model.
Missed the moment when the model was posing in front of the Z on Enkei PF01's.
Any comments on this converted Hummer?
Alvin, his brother, and I went back outside to check out the 2011 Scion tC Tuner Challenge and while walking, I took some photos of the same cars and the ones I forgot to take.
First time every seeing a Chrysler SRT coupe. I personally think the owner was trying to make it a VIP style car. Loved the huge lips.
Some mad concaveness in the rears.
Good to see some guys repping It's JDM yO!
Hope this Lexus comes to AutoFashion's VIP event.
Couple of more VIP style cars in line.
Mothers security truck!
I love concaved wheels.
Team Hybrid's xB on some meaty tires but sexy rims. The carbon fiber fenders make those low offset, wide wheels fit.
What more else to say? Inside to outside, everything about this Evo owned by Charfranants Penesa is fantastic.
Team Hybrid has some members with sick cars. One of the teams I would like to do a whole feature on.
So after a quick walk outside, it's time to head into the Central Hall to check out the tC tuner challenge.
There were three tC's that competed against each other and all of them were amazing. I'll be spending some time writing about these cars because the owners and teams that cooperated put in a lot of work and time and deserve some coverage.
Here's the tC by AAautoworks, Al&Ed's, and Team Hybrid. (and other sponsored companies).
Customized Turbo by GodSpeed. The tC is an auto, which was a small disappointment, but the #'s came out pretty high.
Sound system by Al&Ed's.
Here's the rear/side view of the car. Widebody, DPE wheels, custom diffuser, and etc. There were some parts with some flaws, but overall, it looked great.
Suede wrapped interior.
and the President of Team Hybrid, James Lin, President and staff of AAautoworks.
Another competitor for the tC challenge. Owner of this ride is Shawn Baker. The interior and exterior of this ride was simply amazing.
You could see the judges at the right talking with the owner. The lip kit was molded, Turbo by Descendant, 3-piece wheels by Rotiform, and much more.
One of the sexiest interiors I've seen so far. Cross stitched Cognac leather front and rear seats, a real grenade shift knob, Nardi steering wheel....etc.
Simple but powerful sound system. Chris Rado chose this car as his favorite.
Last but not least, John Pangilinan's tC designed by Jon Sibal. I'm a huge fan of JONSIBAL's blog and had no idea he designed cars. FYI,
Unlike the other tC's, this one was made for drifting.
Turbo kit by Descendant.
So the 3 tC's I've showed you guys were the only ones who participated for the tuner challenge. Now to the other Scion's in the same section/booth.
This xB was designed by The Salty Dogs.
xB Limo, which was pretty amazing.
Tarmac xD by 0-60 Magazine.
I had an hour left to walk around this hall and was debating if I should do a Part 4, but because I have more pictures and words to share, I'll continue.
I have a display like this at home... only in pictures.
One of my favorite models of all times.
A closer look of how they construct their wheels.
Never seen this model before.
Which one to take home........
Their displayed car on Volks and Gram Lights.
Right across were the Yokohama Wheels (Advans, etc.)
ARC had their own booth but very small. Matter of fact, if you didn't know, the oilcooler made for the Z retails $2,500. :O
Bling. Don't know anything about Motorcycles, but had to take a photo because of its shininess
Soon to be in the movie 'Green Hornet'. It was funny how I was trying to take a photo of only the car but the model just walked in and I had to ask if she could pose in front of the car :)
Camero on Accuair.
This model was attracting all the old guys. I'm wondering why...
Classic for sure. With the help of one of our fans, Michael Clark, it's a 1960's Deville.
Porsche GT coupe looking green~
Too many sponsors..
M3 E92 Custom Widebody on some...don't know but those are some sexy deep dish concaved wheels. The Brembo's on this ride retails around $17k and it gets even more expensive depending on the kit.
Time for CR-Z madness! This section was pretty crazy because there were project CR-Z's by various companies.
Nice drop, slick looking lip kit, and good stance.
By Honda Racing. Loved the color combination.
Not feeling it..especially the rims.
The CF hood looks perfect on this one.
Very clean as well.
Probably the fastest CR-Z as of today. More info on Motormavens.
I would love to purchase a CR-Z and fix it up.
Red on Matt Black? Win!
At the Hyundai booth, I saw the sickest VIP styled Equus's ever. There were about 4 if I remember correctly, and all of them were amazing, such as this one on Work Equips.
Double cross diamond stitched seats, suede covered interior, TV's, and Junction Produce curtains.
It's even turboed!!
I really loved the interior of the Dub Edition Equus. More photos later on.
Another one with some sick interior products.
ARK Performance did a tremendous job on their Genesis Coupe.
Exotic high end cars.
Talked with the owner of this 370Z. Pulls more than 1000HP and is daily driven. Check out the engine.
People's choice winner Camero.
I think this is enough for today. I'll continue with Part 4 tomorrow and will talk about meeting Vaughn Gittin Jr., Ford cars, the rest of Central Hall and North Hall.
Have a good night!
