A combination of cars and entertainment...something that's a bit different from how ordinary car shows happen here in Southern California. We've seen plenty of coverage on typical car events, but an event like Motion Auto Show brings in more people to not only enjoy watching cars and models, but to entertain themselves with other activities/entertainment, hence making the event less boring or tiring. There were a few dance crews performing live on stage, such as Booniez Crew, iDK, The Organization, and much more. NOS Energy Drinks had their own separate gaming section for all the spectators to participate in their own Super Street Fighter IV tournament. You'll be seeing some behind-the-scenes photos toward the end, so read along and enjoy my final coverage. v(^-^)v
Back to where I left off, does this LS look familiar? It was the car on Motion Auto Show flyers online and offline. The ride was looking CLEAN on SSR MS1s.
All themes in one Euro. I talked with the owner for a bit and found out he drove a longggg way to install the HPF Stage 2 kit.
Sleeping for about 2 hours and starving to death, Nick, Selma (our editor Edgar's sister), and I headed to California Pizza Kitchen to grab some food. Good times!
While walking back to the Convention center after eating, I spotted this Wagon and took a photo of it because of the unique Bosozoku look, but seems like one of the passengers didn't like the attention at all.
If you guys remember my Part 1 coverage, I mentioned how there were some Heavy Hitter cars outdoors and others as well.
I remember seeing this car at AutoCon last year. O yea! AutoCon!! The next event we'll be supporting.
Speculating this Evo had an upgraded HKS turbo because of the license plate.
Acura TL form Team Shyne.
Fresh SC! Check out the rear camber.
The whole Royal Flush crew was parked outdoors.
Heavy Hitter's RX-3. I LOVEEE this car.
Exotics from HH.
I was really glad the show was indoors because it was freakin hot outside. Here's the xB from M2-Motoring.
Gotta show some love to my friends 1UP x It's JDM yO! crew. Charles's widebody S2000 'Built Like No Other'.
Yo EuroTuner star! That kid likes your car! I was going to keep this as a secret...but he touched your seats.. o_0
Jon Jon's VIP style IS.
I'm always skeptical when I see Kelvin's car because I know for a fact (I know you hate me saying this), he's going to win an award. It was the first Evo I've ever shot and the first time this car got an actual proper exposure after Bulletproof Automotive's feature.
Edgar...why is your G so sexy? You guys should know by now he's our editor.
Peter's Supercharged Accord.
That vinyl design gives this STi an extra sexy look.
This tC from Scion Image was looking clean. Boosted and on Five Axis lip kit.
AutoFashion brought out this widebody Supra covered in Carbon Fiber. I've never seen it before, but heard it is still in progress.
One of my favorite teams, TWCompetition.
We all know about this AE86.
Randy's Lambo G. On Saturday when all the cars were staging, I saw Randy working on his car from 11am to 5pm. Seeing this made me realize how lazy I was with my car....
Ryan's FD. A lot of rare parts on this car.
Even a Bike on display from the TWC line up.
Danh's FD. Good talking with you at the event!
Another Rx-7 owned by Ryan, owner of the Yellow FD above.
Slick G that got 1st place.
I remember reading about this Benz in PAS magazine.
Awesome Ice statue.
I randomly spotted this person recording the girls dancing. He looked creepy...
I'm talking about the girls at the right.
Justin's widebody Civic Si, repping crew 1UP x It's JDM yO!.
1-off Project Mu BBK, Greddy Twin-Turbo, and much more.
JDM Sport turbo'd Scion xB.
Another car from Team Hybrid.
Wowzers. Manifold from Turbosmart.
Spotted our supporters Cusco.
The wheel/tire setup looked pretty good on this CR-Z.
Voltex Evo from Team Hybrid.
Dennis's STi in Mizu's booth.
Hypertech cars on display.
Bisimoto's CR-Z setup.
Bumped into my family Low N Slow.
Peter's LS1 S14 in AutoCon's booth. As mentioned earlier, more info about this event will be announced.
Dam those wheels were bright. Geisha events at the right checking out the car.
Danny, Anthony, and Abraham were in a serious conversation until Anthony spotted me.
Spotted a 626 couple at the event. Harro guys (^-^)v
These designs were pretty cute.
Leo from Kuya Protection and Lily Wang.
Paul, owner of the Matte Green IS-F, was busy setting up the stage with trophies. By the way, trophies were looking SICK!
SSR decal on a Ruckus.
Speaking of SSR, their booth had this sexy exhaust made by Tanabe.
To the Falken Tire area, most of the cars were in The Chronicles lineup at Nisei. Eric's DC5 was in this area too but he's not part of their lineup.
Eric's VTAK DC5. I love his car!!
O? There's Eric!
Team Nuisance chilling. Cute couple at the back, Yoshi and Michelle.
Jose getting his money jacked by Alex.
About an hour before the event ended, there was a dance competition at NOS's booth.
The MC sounded very familiar and I realized it was Tony from Adams Motorsports, host of Sideway Sundays.
This guy pretty much killed everyone with this dance move. GG!
Uh oh..it's Kuya Protection again...if you are planning to take a photo of them, make sure it's quick and don't look at them after because they will sock you in the neck! Just playing (^-^) Awesome guys... (don't kill me..it was a joke..).
Photographers doing work!!! ... and those soldiers doing work!!!
Import Fashion looking at the crowd saying to himself, "Yeap, that's one of my girls!"
Peter, Theresa, and Jon Jon from 1UP x It's JDM yO! posing. O yea, just to let you guys know, Peter is an upcoming Male model in the car scene. You'll be seeing a separate feature on him pretty soon.
Good friends of mine in the automotive scene. Good job 1UP x It's JDM yO!.
Finally, the long awaited part. A few models Nick chose to shoot.
Model from the Stance Wheels booth.
No offense to all you upcoming and professional models out there, but I personally think this girl sets an example of how models should dress up at a car show instead of being 80% naked. Classy, sexy, and hot!
Cutie/Hottie from K&N's booth.
First time seeing this model from NOS's booth. Harro.
Forgot her name, but she's hot.
So...who wants to join?
Dam! Motion Auto Show was just EPIC!! I don't know where Nick took this shot, but a perfect outro photo for this coverage. Thanks again to Pro-Motion Distributing and all the staffs that helped out with MAS.
You'll rarely hear me saying this, but by far, MAS was the most memorable event out of all the ones I've been to in 2011. The date for Motion Auto Show 2012 is now set so MARK YOUR CALENDERS!
